Well this came out okay, I think. Not exacty like him, but more or less. And I had a ton of fun doing it!! ... With the limited colours I had.
No seriously, I enjoyed it. And my folks seem quite proud of it, and funny enough, it was just meant as a practice pic as I'm not too experienced with soft pastels. I'm currently debating on my next pic: it's an A4 sized sketch so far of both my doggies, Bowser and Blaze, and I ws planning to do them in pastels to, but Michelle ( ~MichelleHammanWright ) says it's better as a pencil sketch.... So I dunno, that's where this came from. I wanted to try out the pastels anyway, since the colours would bring out my dogs better and make them look more alive. ^^ But yeah, the inexperience was holding me back. So I just did Bowser's head and this is the result.
I have the Bathurst Show coming up where I'm displaying a few things, and this is one of my two for the Animal Study. So it needs to look 100%... I'm nervous.
came in 2nd Animal Catagory
R.I.P. Bowser 1995-2012

Reference pictures~ From my own photos ... and when Bowser posed nicely for me. And yes, he's my doggie, so no stealing.
Animals: Old Boy, Bowser, artwork by ~xxxDRAGON-MASTERxxx

Watercolours (water paints)
Charcoal

Many thanks for the view and if you do.
